Dear Clients,

Kindly note that the VelocityShares 3X Long Crude ETN linked to the S&P GSCI Crude Oil Index Excess Return (NYSE:UWTI) and the VelocityShares 3X Inverse Crude ETN linked to the S&P GSCI Crude Oil Index Excess Return (NYSE:DWTI) will both cease operations in December. As from December 9th 2016, all open orders on DWTI and UWTI will be cancelled.

As of this moment, DWTI and UWTI are no longer marginable. The margin requirement is 100% now.

Following their delisting, the ETNs will remain outstanding, though they will no longer trade on any national securities exchange. The ETNs may trade, if at all, on an over-the-counter basis. Additional information will be provided soon

Due to the recent decision of the Financial Services and Markets Authority of Belgium (FSMA), regarding the prohibition of  the distribution of various financial products such as derivative contracts with leverage – contracts for difference (CFDs) to Belgian nationals,  the Company is unable to continue with the provision of investment services to Belgian residents. It was affirmed that “the distribution of certain financial derivatives among Belgian retail clients will be restricted as from 18 August 2016. Certain derivatives such as binary options, CFDs with leverage etc. may not be distributed, and certain distribution practices will also be prohibited.” 

 Colmex Pro Ltd will comply with the local regulator (FSMA) since the decision is binding, therefore, any contractual relationship between any client who is resident of Belgium and the Company (Colmex Pro Ltd) will be terminated within the next two weeks starting from today and until the 1st of September 2016. To this extent, the ‘concerned’  clients are hereby given 2 weeks’ notice period.

 

DURING THE NOTICE PERIOD, YOU MUST CLOSE ALL YOUR OPEN POSITIONS, OTHERWISE THE POSITIONS IN YOUR ACCOUNT/s WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CLOSED BY THE COMPANY ON THE LAST NOTICE DAY, IN PRICE QUOTES THAT MIGHT BE LESS FAVOURABLE FOR YOU.

 Please note that the client’s trading account’s remaining balance is the amount held/appeared on the trading account on the last day of the notice period. The transfer of the said funds will take place on the last notice day.
