Yes, you must first open an account with us. If you do not have one, you can open one here.
  • Can my application be rejected?

Yes. Your application is being reviewed based on the assertion you have made. For each criterion you chose you will need to provide appropriate evidence. In certain circumstances the fulfilment of two of the criteria may not be sufficient and a more thorough analysis of your expertise, experience and knowledge may be required.
  • What documents I need to provide?

For each statement you make, out of the 3 criteria for eligibility for Elective Professional you must provide supporting documents as evidence
    of that statement.

Criteria 1: You have carried out transactions, in significant size, on the relevant market at an average frequency of 10 per quarter over the
    previous four quarters.

If an investment portfolio contains leveraged positions, the net equity of the position(s) (i.e., the margin deposited plus any unrealised P&L) will
be used to determine the size of the portfolio. The notional value of the financial instruments cannot be used, as this value does not reflect the
    actual size of the portfolio.

Criteria 3: You work or have worked in the financial sector for at least one year in a professional position which requires knowledge of financial
markets. A supporting document is any document that confirms or employment or qualifications in the financial sector related to financial markets. Such
